Search Engine Optimisation

SEO is the act of optimizing a mix of on-page and off-page elements to improve a site’s rank and visibility within relevant search results.  Historically this has largely been an on-page endeavour focused on site navigation, keyword density, tags, and some other techno-factors mixed with a slight dash of link building. Today though, the engine algorithms have become much more advanced and can process and index a much greater volume of web sites and a much wider range of site types.  So the on-page elements of SEO have become much more standardised.

As a result Media Contacts has structured its SEO services accordingly. We offer many clients basic on-page SEO best practices but focus much of our efforts on leveraging mobile and social media as well as video and other off-page SEO factors to improve rank and visibility for the target web site(s).  One great example of this is ‘tweeting’ the new content our clients produce.  It can take hours or days to get new content indexed with Google, but Google in near real-time is indexing ‘tweets’ so if we ‘tweet’ new content and ensure that has a link back to the new content, Google will follow this Twitter link and index the new content much faster.

Another service area within SEO that Media Contacts offers is optimizing paid media sponsorships for optimal ranking and visibility. Many clients invest millions in content sponsorships with premium publishers, but so few advertisers work with their publisher partners to ensure these sponsorships and corresponding content get the SEO treatment.

Due to the mix of agencies within the global Media Contacts network, we can offer clients multinational SEO efforts and offer SEO services that range from pure consulting to full optimization, production, and execution.  These services also include the ability to synch up and leverage site analytics as well as paid search campaigns to ensure our SEO efforts translate into real business results.
