This is Media Contacts’ heritage and the backbone to everything we offer clients as an agency.  It all started over a decade ago when Media Contacts acquired Hook Media, in the United States.  Hook Media had developed a proprietary tool called Artemis™ in conjunction with DoubleClick and PWC. Artemis™ is a flexible data platform that we have continually invested in and reinvented over the years to offer our clients robust data solutions.

Artemis™ receives a daily-disaggregated data feed from our technology partners ranging from, but not limited to, DoubleClick, Google Analytics, MediaMind, Kenshoo and Blinq. This feed enables us to produce insights cross channel with fully customizable attribution models. Most attribution models have to be predetermined, but using Artemis™ the data will tell us what the attribution model should be and in today’s on-demand nonlinear digital media world, it is crucial to be able to put a value on every touch point and know how that exposure impacted the subsequent exposures all the way though to conversion.

Using Artemis™ we are also able to improve our digital media planning and buying services by de-duplicating ad network buys, better insight into effective reach and frequency, and view IP stamps for conversions with any pay-for-performance buys. Search campaigns are improved because of insight into the search journey.  At Media Contacts, many search advertisers when they apply search journey attribution, will see about half the value of the final [usually a brand term] click to conversion reattributed to top-of-the-funnel non-branded keywords.  This is a huge opportunity for us to help our clients grow their marketshare.

Another Artemis™ application takes attribution to another level.  The Artemis™ team can create custom solutions for clients whereby allowing the client to assign a unique ID (with no PII, personally identifiable information) for every conversion.  Media Contacts can then look up what site, search engine, placement, creative, keyword, and/or day of week that drove the end customer.  Also, through a unique data feed, our Artemis™ system and the advertiser’s commerce or customer engine can exchange this information so our reporting gets continually updated with the actual value of that customer as it evolves over time.  This is particularly valuable to any verticals where there is an online lead and an offline conversion.
