Challenge
Auto promotion campaign of Media Contacts Brazil for its 10th anniversary and showing at the same time the importance of the online advertisement to marketers.
Strategy
With a very limited budget Media Contacts Brazil created a video based on the concept that nowadays nothing is more interesting or appealing than the Internet.
Making a satire of the famous child psychology tests with marshmallows, the video challenges children not to play or use a computer in exchange of candies. Highlighting that the world is more digital than ever: “The instinct is digital. What about your brand?”
The target was led to the commemorative micro site through social networks and communication by e-mail and press releases.
Results
The campaign achieved great results:
- Over 40,000 views on YouTube, and still counting.
- Several media outlets mentioned the campaign as an example of how brands should advertise more on the Internet.
- The main advertising portals and blogs quoted the campaign generating great visibility to Media Contacts.
- Bronze at the Latin American Wave Festival.
